Well we’re nearly booked up for the rest of the year with shoots for the Nightlights TV show …which I host here in Indianapolis. Things are going really well and it looks like even bigger things are about to happen! I’ve been having good feelings lately.
I always love meeting new people. Mark Mcavoy you crack me up! When the camera guy was getting b-roll video footage, I had to hold the mic way up high to the speaker so the camera could record sound when the raffle prize announcer gave away the prizes. My arm was getting so tired and every time I looked over, Mark was mimicking me! I’d switch hands…he’d switch hands. He’s such a goof-ball! lol
We had a great time hanging out at Gatsby’s during the first Colts home game. I think my favorite part about that night was the blue Jello shots Tim threw out at everyone every time the Colts scored a touch down (which is a tradition there). 38 – 14 against the New York Giants…Manning vs. Manning. It was a good game and if I remember correctly, I think Tim ran out of shots! They also give away two trips to Vegas every home game. And guess what…you’ll have to watch the episode when it comes out to see if I won! Oooo…maybe I did…maybe I didn’t. If I did …who should I take??? I seriously can’t wait for this episode…I think the video montage of the tossing of the shots after the Colts scored will be funny and entertaining. haha

Paired with this episode is the Ale Emporium…voted best bar food on the north side of Indy. OMG … I had the Margherita pizza and their famous Hermanaki chicken wings …and I plan on coming back for more! It was very very good! Apparently they make their pizza with a secret ingredient…and we determined we should call it crack pizza!
I also learned that night that Ale is just another name for beer. Scott the bartender brought me a couple of their Ales to try. I had the … brace yourself… Doggie Style Classic Pale Ale by Flying Dog Brewery. Ok this is what you need to do. Next time you’re there, order it and tell me what you see on the front of the bottle.
The band Living Proof was performing that night. Wow they are all very talented! I especially loved their Michael Jackson tribute. We had to leave right in the middle of it…but I at least got to see their performance of “Thriller”. This band carries such a great vibe. You’ll want to be at the Ale next time they perform.
